This comprehensive one-day CME-CE hands-on training and certification workshop, explores the fundamental cosmetic applications employed by expert injectors of FDA approved neurotoxins (Botox®, Dysport®, Xeomin®, & Daxxify®).
During the morning didactic, historical perspective on the use of botulinum toxin A as well as a brief analysis of Botulinum Toxin B will be presented. The significant focus and interactive review of relevant facial anatomy and physiology (the cornerstone of safe and effective treatment) presented, will help you to determine the best treatment plan for your patients.
This CME/CE course offers the fundamental instruction of mapping and injection techniques for the most frequently requested upper face areas (glabella frown lines, crow’s feet, horizontal forehead lines, bunny lines, brow lift). Off-label use and other pertinent information will be presented to include mechanism of action, safety and efficacy issues, management and treatment of complications, dilution guidelines, and more. The presentation will cover a brief overview of hyperhidrosis treatment, dental applications, and other advanced treatment areas of the lower face.
Video and live demonstrations explaining procedures and techniques will bolster your knowledge and prepare you for the hands-on practice sessions.

This activity has been designed to meet the educational needs of clinicians (physicians, registered nurses, nurse practitioners, licensed practical nurses, physician assistants, and dentists) involved in the care of patients seeking aesthetic enhancement procedures.
We kindly ask you not bring any guests or models into the workshop. The hands-on portion of this particular class will be between you and other workshop attendees.
If you do not wish to be injected ESI will provide a model for you, but you must let us know before the course so that we have ample time to find a patient for you. When it comes to your experience in the course, we feel it is important when working with a medium such as this, you have a personal experience of the injections.
Please let the ESI Staff know of any special arrangements that must be made on your behalf for this workshop.
Upon successful completion of the entire activity and successful return demonstration, Nurses & NPs will be granted 8 contact hours (CE). No partial credit will be granted.

Each attendee will receive a course manual, PP slide deck, a dropbox link loaded with supporting forms and templates of practice documents such as consents, standardized procedure and protocol policies, purchasing sources, procedure video, and more. A certification of hands-on training will be provided upon completion of the course (mailed within 2 weeks).
Please note: All cancellations must be received (not postmarked) in writing via mail or fax transmission. Cancellation Policy must be strictly enforced since workshops require a great deal of planning and preparation.
A refund will be given, less a $200.00 processing fee, if canceled at least 14 days prior to the start of the workshop. Any cancellations after this time will not qualify for a refund but may be used toward a future workshop with the approval of the administrative department of ESI.
Since a minimum number of registrants are necessary for each course and we do not meet this minimum, or for any other reason beyond our control the course is canceled or postponed, the registration fee will be refunded in full.
